Weapons

The cornerstone of any self-respecting first person shooter. Whatever your taste, there's something here to suit every Specialist.
You may find the weapons of TS a cut above that of your average game, in terms of both quality and quantity. Not convinced? Read on...

Handguns - The Gentleman's choice...

Glock 18c

Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum

Magazine Capacity: 17

Fire Modes: Full-auto, Semi-auto

Slots: 10

Background: The only fully automatic pistol in the TS arsenal, a very useful backup weapon.

---

H&K Mk23 SOCOM

Caliber: .45 ACP

Magazine Capacity: 12

Fire Modes: Semi-auto

Slots: 10

Background: Possibly the most rounded pistol in the game, the Mk23 provides a good trade-off between firepower and amount of ammunition. This gun can also be bought akimbo for 24 rounds of .45cal fun.

---

IMI Desert Eagle .50

Caliber: .50 Action Express

Magazine Capacity: 7

Fire Modes: Semi-auto

Slots: 15

Background: The infamous Desert Eagle, not a weapon to be messed with. It's difficult to aim due to its prodigious recoil, but if you can handle it, a deadly weapon at almost any range.

---

FNH Five-seveN

Caliber: 5.7x28mm

Magazine Capacity: 20

Fire Modes: Semi-auto

Slots: 10

Background: The Five-seveN is the most accurate of the TS pistols, and also has the largest magazine. This is offset by the amount of damage it does(slightly less than a 9mm round). It can also be bought akimbo, which provides you with 40 rounds of ammunition. Use them well.

---

Beretta 92F

Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum

Magazine Capacity: 15

Fire Modes: Semi-auto

Slots: 10

Background: Used in countless action movies, and personal favourites of Chow Yun Fat, the Beretta is an institution in themselves. Very well rounded weapons, average damage, average accuracy and a large ammunition capacity. All of these things combine to make them a very favourable choice.

---

Akimbo Colt .45(Golden Colts)

Caliber: .45 ACP

Magazine Capacity: 2x8

Fire Modes: Semi-auto (free-semi)

Slots: 20

Background: The classic Colt 45s are available in the shape of these customised versions used by Nicholas Cage in the film Face/Off. Very powerful, but offset by limited ammunition.

---

Glock 20c

Caliber: 10mm Auto

Magazine Capacity: 15

Fire Modes: Semi-auto

Slots: 10

Background: A very powerful pistol, with a large magazine and fast fire-rate. Drawbacks? Not many, but accuracy is limited and reload time is a limiting factor.

---

Ruger Mk1

Caliber: .22

Magazine Capacity: 17

Fire Modes: Semi-auto

Slots: 10

Background: The smallest calibre pistol available in TS, its accurate, fast-firing and has a large magazine. A good backup weapon.
Edit: the .22LR rounds are armor penetrating rounds. (Submitted by member, Melcaleb)
---

Taurus Raging Bull

Caliber: .454 Casull

Magazine Capacity: 5

Fire Modes: Semi-auto

Slots: 15

Background: One of the most powerful handguns in the world. At close range, the Raging Bull will kill in a single hit, but the massive recoil makes it impossible to fire more than one shot with any degree of accuracy. Use with care.

Sub-Machine Guns - Bow to the God of spray 'n pray...

Steyr TMP (REPLACED with Skorpian)

Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellu

Magazine Capacity: 30

Fire Modes: Full-auto, Semi-auto

Slots: 15

Background: The lightest of the SMGs, the TMP combines a fast fire-rate with good damage to make a good overall weapon.

---

H&K MP5 Kurz

Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum

Magazine Capacity: 30

Fire Modes:Full-auto, Semi-auto & Burst

Slots: 20

Background: One of the most well-rounded SMGs, the MP5k combines a high rate of fire with good damage. It's not too heavy either, meaning you can still perform the full range of stunts whilst carrying it.

---

H&K MP5SD5

Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum

Magazine Capacity: 30

Fire Modes: Full-auto, Semi-auto & Burst

Slots: 30

Background: Perhaps one of the stealthiest of weapons available, the SD is virtually silent during firing, making surprise attacks much easier. It is one of the heavier SMGs though, meaning movement and stunting ability are limited.

---

H&K MP7 PDW

Caliber: 2.7x32mm

Magazine Capacity: 40

Fire Modes: Full-auto, Semi-auto

Slots:30

Background: Just hold the fire button and let rip, 40 rounds sprayed at your opponent are the result. The PDW has the highest magazine capacity of any of the SMGs, but for most effective usage, burst-firing is advised.

---

H&K UMP45

Caliber: .45 ACP

Magazine Capacity: 25

Fire Modes: Full-auto, Semi-auto & Burst (Two round burst added in v3.0)

Slots: 25

Background: The UMP combines a low, controllable rate of fire with the serious stopping power of .45 cal ammo. It's one of the heaviest of the SMGs, which results in your movement being inhibited.

---

IMI Mini-UZI

Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum

Magazine Capacity: 32

Fire Modes: Full-auto, Semi-auto

Slots: 20

Background: The classic UZI is available here in all it's glory; rapid-fire and deadly at close range. As you might expect, there's a certain degree of recoil to be handled.
This weapon can also be bought akimbo, putting 64 rounds of rapid-fire carnage at your disposal.

Shotguns - Big 'n beefy

Benelli M3S90

Caliber: 12x72mm Super Magnum

Magazine Capacity: 7

Fire Modes: Pump-action, Semi-auto

Slots: 40

Background: There's not a lot that separates the two main shotguns, but if it's power you're after, the Benelli is the choice for you, at the expense of slightly higher recoil...

---

Franchi SPAS-12

Caliber: 12x70mm Super Magnum

Magazine Capacity: 9

Fire Modes: Pump-action, Semi-auto

Slots: 40

Background: ...whereas the SPAS-12 is slightly less powerful, but has lower recoil and one more shell at your disposal.

---

USAS-12

Caliber: 12x70mm Super Magnum

Magazine Capacity: 20

Fire Modes: Full-auto

Slots: 50

Background: For sheer unalloyed power, there isn't much to beat this; the USAS is a fully automatic shotgun carrying a 20 round drum magazine. Close range, no one else stands a chance. It is however, one of the heaviest weapons available and inhibits your movement considerably.
Edit: USAS-12 takes longer to reload than the other shotguns (a whole drum vs. one shell at a time).
(Submitted by member, Melcaleb.)

---

Mossberg 500 ASA Custom

Caliber: 12x89mm Super Magnum

Magazine Capacity: 8

Fire Modes: Pump-action

Slots: 40

Background: If pure power is your choice, then there is no choice. The Mossberg can kill in a single hit at close range. However, higher recoil and the fact that it is pump-action only count against it.

---

Sawed-Off Shotgun

Caliber: 20mm Shells

Magazine Capacity: 2

Fire Modes: Semi-auto

Slots:20

Background: Two barrels of sawed-off carnage at your disposal. A very short range weapon, but deadly in the right hands. Viva la Boomstick!

===

Rifles - Far reaching uses...

Colt M4A1 Carbine

Caliber: 5.56x45 NATO

Magazine Capacity: 30

Fire Modes: Full-auto, Semi-auto

Slots:40

Background: An assault rifle fit for all occasions, the M4 is an excellent all-round weapon. A high-rate of fire along with high damage combine to make this, in the right hands, a gun to be feared.

---

Kalasnikov AK-47

Caliber: 7.62x39mm Soviet

Magazine Capacity: 30

Fire Modes: Full-auto, Semi-auto

Slots: 35

Background: A weapon that needs no introduction, the AK47 is one of the most famous weapons in the world. With good reason, it's the largest calibre AR available in TS and packs a serious punch. With a scope, it can also be an accurate long range weapon.

---

Steyr AUG

Caliber: 5.56x45 NATO

Magazine Capacity: 30

Fire Modes: Full-auto, Semi-auto

Slots: 40

Background: Similar to the M4 in terms of use, though with a slightly slower fire-rate, the AUG is a more precise weapon. It is, however, still deadly at any range and a good all-round weapon.

---

Colt M16 A4

Caliber: 5.56x45 NATO

Magazine Capacity: 18

Fire Modes: Semi-auto, Burst

Slots: 40

Background: Vaguely related to the M4, the M16 is different in that it utilises single shot and burst fire modes only. It also has a lower magazine capacity, only 18 rounds. This is not as much of a disadvantage as it may seem, taking into consideration its good accuracy and high damage levels, it can be used as a light sniper rifle.

Special Purpose - For the discerning specialist...

Barret M82A1

Caliber: .50 BMG

Magazine Capacity: 5

Fire Modes: Semi-auto

Slots: 70

Background: The one and only true sniper rifle in TS. Enough firepower to stop a truck, so you can imagine what it does to a person...
Needless to say; one shot kill. But very, very heavy.

---

M60E3

Caliber: 7.62 NATO

Magazine Capacity: 100

Fire Modes: Full-auto

Slots: 70

Background: The ultimate in support firepower, and the only true machine gun in TS. Deadly at close range, but best fired in short bursts over distance.

---

Katana

Caliber: 40" Folded Steel

Fire Modes: Hack 'n Slash

Slots: 10

Background: For close-in fighting, nothing beats this razor-sharp blade. Primary fire will cause standard slashing attacks whilst pressing duck and fire will execute a lethal swiping motion, which will leave you momentarily vulnerable. Other moves are also available to you, but we'll leave you to discover them..

---

Combat Knife

Caliber: 10" Steel

Fire Modes: Slash, Throw

Slots: 1 (Maximum of 5)

Background: A standard combat knife, which does heavy damage during close in fighting, and is usually lethal in one hit when thrown. However, due to its weight, the range of these thrown knives is limited.

---

Seal Knife

Caliber: 6'' Steel

Fire Modes: Slash, Throw

Slots: 1 (Maximum of 10)

Background: A lighter version of the combat knife which, whilst not doing as much damage in melee combat, can be thrown much further.

---

M61 Frag Grenade

Slots: 7 (Tested and submitted by member, Melcaleb)

Background: You know what to do. Pop the pin and let her rip. Primary fire throws the grenade up and over obstacles, whilst secondary fires rolls it a shorter distance along the ground. As well as the explosive force, this weapon also sprays out shrapnel, which can injure and kill at longer ranges. It's available as a powerup in Deathmatch or for purchase in Teamplay.
